River Base

PRIVATE KAITUNA RIVER BASE

Raftabout and Sledgeabout is the only company in Rotorua with a private River Base with full amenities (including separate mens and ladies changing rooms, showers and toilets) as well as private access to the Kaituna River. We have a place to sit and enjoy a hot or cold drink in the sun and BBQ’s that are available for customer use.

The land is leased from the Taheke Corporation, part of the local Iwi, Ngati Pikiao.
