The ‘Operator’ means Raftabout and any other party contracted by Raftabout.

Bookings & Conditions
A minimum physical size is required for rafting and sledging. The minimum age for rafting is 13 years (with some exceptions) and for sledging is 15 years, however we reserve the right to refuse to raft older children should we consider their build to be too slight.
The Operator reserves the absolute right to cancel or amend any service at any time for any reason and assume no liability whatsoever for any loss, additional cost or any other consequent result.
It is your responsibility to advise us in writing at the time of the booking of any medical condition or physical disability, which requires any special treatment or attention. The Operator reserves the right to decline your booking on the grounds that your safety could be compromised. No person presenting themselves for a rafting trip in an apparently intoxicated state or under the influence of drugs will be rafted nor will any refund be forthcoming.
By participating in any of the activities provided by the Operator you agree not to commence any litigation or proceedings in any country in relation to the risks and perils set out in ’7′ above and indemnify the Operator from any such claims.
A credit card number is required at the time of booking and will be charged to secure the booking.
The credit card will be charged by our parent company Rotorua Adventures.
The Operator operates within strict safety guidelines however adventure activities by their very nature involve a degree of risk. By partaking in these activities guests agree to assume this risk and will be required to sign a waiver of liability.
It is essential that ALL customers contact us on the day before their trip to confirm that everything is fine with water levels, minimum numbers etc.
The Operator reserves the right to cancel or amend any trip due to safety issues, weather, river or road conditions, or insufficient numbers.
Final numbers of group bookings (10 or more people) must be confirmed 10 working days prior to the booking date. This is the minimum number of people that will be charged for.
A minimum of 48 hours notice of any cancellation is required to avoid any cancellation fees being charged.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours notice will be charged a 50% cancellation charge.
Cancellations within 24 hours of departure or no shows will be charged 100% cancellation fee.
Group Bookings (10 or more people)
Ten (10) working days notice is required if the entire group is cancelling to avoid cancellation charges.
Trips cancelled by the Operator for any reason (insufficient numbers, flooding, etc) will be refunded in full if an alternative trip / date is not suitable.
