The scenery along the rock and tree lined gorge is as much a part of the trip as the exciting waterfalls and rapids. The Wairoa River is situated between Matamata and Tauranga, at the base of the Kaimai Ranges.
A picnic style lunch of a Subway roll, fruit, biscuits and cold drinks are also provided.
Age Limit: 13 years (conditions apply) and must fit safety equipment.
Equipment: We provide wetsuits, fleeces, splash jackets, booties, buoyancy aids, and helmets.
Transport: From Rotorua central is available on request. Alternatively you can meet us at our Kaituna River Base or at the Wairoa Base (plenty of free, safe parking at both).
